How the JITUME TVET portal handles personal data submitted through public and administrative services.
Data we collect
Public forms collect only the details shown, a consent version, a generated reference and limited security metadata. Administrative accounts process identity, role, login and audit information.
Why we process it
Information is used to respond to enquiries, manage participation interest, address complaints and safeguarding reports, operate the service securely and meet public accountability duties.
Protection and retention
Sensitive submissions and contact fields are encrypted at rest. Access is role-based and audited. Submission retention is configurable and records are deleted or anonymised under the approved schedule.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, objection, restriction or deletion where applicable under Kenya’s Data Protection Act. Use the contact route and include your reference where available.
