About Jitume
Making every young Kenyan digitally employable.
Jitume is a national government programme implemented by Konza Technopolis Development Authority, ICT Authority, and Communications Authority, under the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy.
Our mission
To equip young Kenyans with practical digital skills and responsible pathways into the digital economy.
Jitume uses participating TVET institutions as delivery locations for digital access, supported learning and links to current opportunities. Facilities and services vary by centre and should be confirmed in the directory before a visit.
The programme's design eliminates the two largest barriers to digital employment: infrastructure access and training quality. By co-locating inside existing educational institutions, Jitume avoids the cost and delay of building new facilities while giving learners a structured environment from day one.
